We are looking for a people centric HR Specialist based in Canada to join our global People & Culture team. This is a true generalist role where you’ll be contributing to the development of our culture in line with our values, partnering with and supporting our employees and managers, and providing valuable insight into Canadian work practices. You will work closely with global teams from across the assigned business units. The day-to-day work of this role will provide support for all life cycle activities for assigned employees, advise on HR policy, and assist with the implementation of HR procedures and processes, as well as support projects and priorities both locally and globally.
This is a 13-14 month contract position to fill a parental leave.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist capacity; ideally having worked across multiple provinces and within a global company;
- You have a curiosity for HR best-practice in all employee lifecycle activities and a love for working with people; getting to know them, what inspires them and understanding their needs;
- You’re dependable, ethical, proactive, and organized. You act with integrity and earn the trust of those around you.
- You prioritize building relationships with your colleagues and take pride in being approachable;
- You’ve worked remotely and are comfortable with a variety of technologies necessary to work in a global setting;
- You’re willing and able to regularly work on an Eastern Time zone schedule.

Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $85,000. Actual pay will be determined based on skills, experience, and location.
