We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of HR administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of HR processes and providing excellent support to our employees. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in human resources and a passion for employee engagement and development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources and/or recruitment.
  • Understanding of DOLE and HR requirements.
  • Experienced with records management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably BambooHR.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Highly motivated and driven.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand the HR needs of clients and team members.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong sense of honesty and responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR administrative tasks including onboarding, induction, offboarding, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Enter and maintain personal details of new and existing employees in the HRIS.
  • Ensure the security and maintenance of HR personnel files, making sure all files are complete and ready for regulatory inspection.
  • Administer HR-related transactions and workflows, ensuring timely completion.
  • Generate and facilitate HR reports and any ad hoc reports as required.
  • Handle administrative duties such as employee documentation, disciplinary actions, filing separation clearances, maintaining the employee database, and other related tasks.
  • Assist in recruitment, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and process development and improvement.
  • Support employee engagement and retention activities, as well as handle administrative work related to employee relations.
  • Other HR responsibilities as assigned by management.
