Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partners, the HR Specialist is responsible for coordination and assistance in recruitment processes and maintaining compliance items related to employee staffing.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in managing/auditing FAA drug and alcohol program.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong analytical ability.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains confidentiality with all employee and company information.
- Assists in the full life cycle recruitment process for positions as needed, to include phone-screening candidates, coordinating and scheduling interview dates, arranging travel for out of state candidates, and monitoring applicant flow.
- Acts as a backup for interview support.
- Administers programs related to reruiting efforts including referral bonuses and PHI Health transfer partnerships.
- Participates in and coordinates career fairs and military recruiting efforts.
- Utilizes JF Firm and other boards to identify potential qualified candidates in the aviation industry.
- Completes all appropriate tasks for international work visas/permits.
- Compiles information for required reporting including EEO1, OFCCP, VETS, Affirmative Action, and any reporting requested for customer contracts.
- Conducts orientation for new hires.
- Manages drug and alcohol programs.
- Assists with maintaining and auditing files as needed including personnel files, I-9s and job descriptions.
- Assists in reconciliation of expenses related to Human Resources including departmental card charges, benefits billing, and other invoices as needed.
- Completes PRIA requests
- Compiles report of all terminations and new hires on a monthly basis for CEO
- All other duties as assisgned.
