YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an HR Country Specialist (Poland) to join the People team at BlaBlaCar. Working closely with the Management team in Poland, your role will be to implement the HR strategy in Poland, within your scope of responsibilities. You will be reporting to Dorine Jaouen the HR Regional Lead and working with a team of 2 other HR Country Specialists (Brazil and Ukraine). The People team overall is composed of around 35 employees.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an HR admin officer
  • Experience in HR policies and practices
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Workday is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Thriving in a collaborative, fast-growing and innovative environment
  • Ability to take ownership, aligned with business priorities
  • Full working proficiency in English and Polish
  • Experience with employment of foreigners (legal matters) is a nice to have

Responsibilities:

  • HR
  • With the support of our local HR & Engagement intern, that you’ll be pleased to manage:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local labor laws and staff regulations
  • Partner effectively with managers to understand their priorities and provide expert advice and innovative solutions on all aspects of human resources policy issues
  • Provide effective guidance and support to all employees on employee relations, compensation/benefits, and general HR issues
  • Adapt existing global policies and procedures to the requirements of local legal law (creating new one according to the needs)
  • Support the deployment of global policies locally (e.g BlaBlaNomad; Parental leave) & tools (e.g Ticketing tool) where applicable
  • Support Employee onboarding & offboarding
  • Prepare contracts and amendments
  • Manage staff attendance, leaves and prepare staff Payroll accordingly
  • Update HR data in the HRIS - Workday
  • Manage Staff monthly HR Tracking Sheets
  • Confidentially and securely maintain records of all HR information

Engagement

  • Organize local events/initiatives to keep employees engaged
  • Support the deployment of global initiatives locally (e.g Impact Day, Be The Member Day ..)
  • Send regular communications on proposed initiatives
  • Striving to continuously improve office conditions and level of comfort

Office Administration

  • Cooperation with suppliers: finding providers for the local office needs and managing the relationship including contract, requisitions creating, invoices gathering
  • Supporting employees with supplies requests
  • Expenses tracking and budget preparation
  • Managing courier delivery within country and abroad, office relocations
  • Coordination of IT equipment stock, contact person for local IT management (servers, switches, IT providers, all kinds of equipment checks)
