Description:

You have the opportunity to impact Mercury’s employee experience as a member of the HR Solution Center team. We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist for mainly interview scheduling and day-to-day support on transactional tasks including life qualifying events, benefits questions, unemployment claims, timecard questions and related inquiries. This position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work across numerous channels of communication including phone, email, Microsoft TEAMS, etc.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Prior in experience or scheduling or HR.
  • Proven experience balancing and maintaining busy outlook calendars.
  • able to multi-task and organized.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, processes, and systems in a multi-state environment
    This is a hybrid role; the position would require working 2-3 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing client-focused support to our employees, responding to basic questions, and resolving issues within our SLAs
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team as the main point of contact for interview scheduling
  • Supporting HR execution throughout the full employee value stream, from hiring to offboarding
  • Processing employee status changes, transfers, and promotions accurately and timely
  • Auditing input of data into HR systems to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, and other duties as assigned
  • Good communication throughout the whole interview scheduling process with the recruiters.
