Description:
Job Summary
The HR Recruitment Specialist supports Holt by sourcing, interviewing, and helping hire excellent talent for the growth of the company. This position collaborates with Marketing for advertising open positions, tracks incoming resumes, and oversees the interviewing processes. This position facilitates the relationship between Holt Homes and potential candidates, Staffing Agencies, job fair coordinators, and internship organizations with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree or HR Certification
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Thorough knowledge or ability to quickly learn and research recruiting and retention laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to help managers interview candidates for both soft and hard skills
- Sincerely enjoy interactions with candidates and employees
- Ability to naturally welcome and connect with people
SKILLS
- Ability to naturally welcome and connect with people
- Ability to learn new software and programs quickly and the ability to instruct others
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written, in the English language

Responsibilities:
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner with managers regarding their needs and wants for open positions
- Source candidates from dependable platforms
- Ensure templates in Paycom are up-to-date and assist in educating managers and other employees on how to use templates
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure sufficient social media hiring advertisements and targeted location advertisements
- Conduct first round phone/virtual interviews and schedule second and third round interviews for managers
- Serve as point-of-contact with partnered staffing agencies and recruiters
- Organize summer internship programs with select high school and college programs/schools
- Organize job fairs
- Help plan any Recruitment/hiring events
- Create and update job descriptions as needed
- Coordinate with other HR personnel for onboarding needs
- Continual process improvement and tools implemented to incorporate current recruiting trends
- Seek to improve the overall employee experience and serve as one of the voices of the team
- Other duties as needed or assigned
