Job Title: HR Specialist – Talent Management
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Director, HR Business Partners
JOB DESCRIPTION
The HR Specialist – Talent Management is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that enhance employee experience and engagement. This role focuses on the entire onboarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the organization. The Specialist will collaborate with various departments to identify full life cycle data trends (onboarding and exit), administrator for performance management system and support career development initiatives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 6 years of experience in talent management, employee experience, onboarding, or human resources.
- Certification in human resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting in HR.
- Strong understanding of talent management strategies and onboarding best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams.
- Proficient in HRIS (ADP) and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility and ability to adjust as needed in a changing landscape
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Facilitate new hire orientation; Oversee the enhancements to the onboarding program that includes orientation, training, and integration activities.
- Ensure new team members have the necessary resources and support during their onboarding journey.
- Develop onboarding surveys to assess employee experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze onboarding and exit data trends to develop strategies for employee retention, training opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Support the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning; administrator for performance management system.
- Collaborate with managers to identify high-potential employees and support career development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies regarding talent management and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on onboarding, exit metrics, and employee engagement.
- Stay updated on best practices in talent management and onboarding.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and program
- General HR Support as needed
