OVERVIEW:

The HRBP-Specialist is the subject matter expert regarding HR processes and system-related updates. This role will provide support through HR analytics, job description updates, employee relations, and overall teammate lifecycle initiatives for Technology, Real Estate, and Legal.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Corporate office in Coraopolis, PA (remote on Monday and Friday, in office on Tuesday- Thursday).
Responsibilities:

HR Process and Systems Ownership

  • Facilitate HR processes and system processes, as needed. Processes include offer preparation, payroll oversight, unemployment claims, etc. Processes vary by location supported.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the company’s HRIS (Workday). Participate in system processing, system enhancement projects, train/on board new hires and provide recommendations to HRIS teams from an end user perspective
  • Support the larger HR Community through developing, maintaining and updating document templates and SOPs. Ensure changes are communicated and shared to the appropriate Teams and SharePoint sites
  • Guide, train, and direct business partners on the execution of HR policies and processes to ensue, appropriate legal and organizational compliance. Problem solve as needed when issues arise

HR Data Governance and Analytics

  • Review HR data dashboards and reports to enable data-driven insights by identify trends, exceptions and callouts. Partner with HRM to determine findings, recommendations and proposed action items for Business Leaders.
  • Partner with HRM and Business Leaders to develop, update or edit job descriptions as business needs dictate. Research competitive roles in the marketplace to ensure job descriptions reflect a strong positioning for candidates, including searchability and SEO perspective.

Employee Relations

  • Partner with HRM to provide employees and managers as first line communications for daily issues/questions about HR Practices, Policies and Procedures
  • Point of contact for all Employment Verification or special request needs
  • Support HRM in developing teammate engagement action and communication plans, pull actions through to completion.
  • Gather the voice of the teammate through employee lifecycle touchpoints (exit interviews, pulse checks and focus groups).
  • Partner with Managers and HRM for performance review calibrations and talent review discussions. Prepare analysis and help capture actions from these meetings
  • Work with Managers across the organization as it relates to teammate coaching, performance issues and problem resolution. Provide counseling, resources and next steps. Keep HRM informed of actions.
  • Assist HRM in performance management actions, end to end. This includes all actions from document preparation, follow up and advising business leaders
  • May participate in other critical HR projects or perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Communications or work equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality when handling sensitive company and employee information
  • Problem solving skills, including using data to drive resolutions
  • Communicates clearly, both in written and verbal formats. Demonstrates brevity in style and content.
  • Ability to balance of business results and empathy, through active listening, reasoning and analytical skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
