Description:
We are looking for a Hiring Specialist to source, attract, evaluate and recruit qualified candidates for hourly production positions.
Hiring Specialist responsibilities include developing short-term and long-term hiring plans, advertising our open positions and sourcing candidates both online and paper applications. To be successful in this role, you should have full cycle recruiting experience and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure we offer a positive candidate experience and meet our hiring needs by promoting our company as a great place to work!
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Work experience as a Hiring Specialist, Recruiter or similar role.
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
- Experience with Human Resources Software’s and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Familiarity using social networks to post job ads and source candidates.
- Knowledge of labor legislation
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Good time management skills with the ability to juggle various open positions.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate our internal hiring process
- Post Hourly production Job positions
- Review staffing needs with Hiring Supervisor and Production/Management to identify staffing gaps.
- Process/Screen All Hourly production applications
- Set up Interviews via phone, and in-person.
- Coordinate Plan tours for all applicants scheduled.
- Conduct all hourly production interviews.
- Present job offers letters for selected hourly production applicants.
- Schedule Medical/Drug Tests
- Complete I-9’s on all new hires on a weekly basis to follow Federal Regulations
- Review and Maintain I-9 compliance.
- Maintain a complete record of all interviews and new hires.
- Advertise open roles on various channels including internal job posting, professional social networks i.e. (Facebook, Instagram and our careers page.)
- Host or participate in job fairs (internal or external)Any other job tasks as assigned by Hiring Supervisor
