We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Systems Intern, on a 12 months fixed term contract based at our Dalton, Thirsk offices.
Working Hours: 8.30am-5.15pm Monday - Thursday 8.30am-3.00pm Friday.

Vacancy Details
In the HR Systems Intern position you will play a key role in supporting our HR technology platforms and learning the intricacies of HR systems. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team of professionals while developing technical and analytical skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the integration of new tools and software into existing HR platforms.
  • Work with the HR team to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to support HR decision-making processes.
  • Help with user training and documentation for new system features.
  • Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing HR system functionality and user experience.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, as a member of the HR team you’ll be be working with sensitive, confidential data, so discretion and confidentiality are essential skills. You will be either currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, information technology or a related field, with an interest in HR systems.

As well as,

  • Basic proficiency in tools like Excel or Google Sheets, as well as being comfortable working with data.
  • You’ll be a proactive problem-solver and team player.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of the wider HR team.
