Description:
As a Human Resources - Total Rewards Intern you will gain valuable experience in many different fields: employee benefits, including insurances and wellbeing offerings. The HR Total Rewards team provides managers and employees with benefits and wellbeing offerings for the evolving lives of employees, their families and pets. This team continuously looks for opportunities to improve the benefits offering to employees as well as ways to manage the according processes more efficiently. What is most important in this role is that you will be able to bring knowledge to the table and help the team with your ideas on how to improve our processes.
In this role
You will work within the HR Total Rewards team supporting contract renewals and improvement on a day-to-day basis. There are a number of projects that you can start and really be responsible for from beginning to end, such as:
Map the benefits implementation process including accompanying checklists, develop roles and responsibilities across various teams and work closely together with our external consultant.
You will collaborate with different departments such as People Operations and Payroll, to gather knowledge, information and align expertise. You will get a good flavor of what the Human Resources department does, and how they interact with employees.
As IDEXX is constantly growing, there is a lot you can do and you will truly contribute to our company. Not only by your daily activities, but also by finding your own projects and improving our processes and benefits offering and the way employees value what IDEXX is offering them.
What You Will Need to Succeed
We are looking for a student of Business Management with an analytical mindset, high level of accuracy, excellent communication skills a hands-on mentality and the ability to multi-task.
You are proactive and creative, and always looking for opportunities where internal processes can be improved.
You possess a professional attitude and are a team player, punctual and eager to learn.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
Some practical aspects
You are available to start by beginning of February (or earlier) and can work with us for 5-6 months full-time (40 hours a week)
You need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree to be eligible for this internship and to secure university approval to start the assignment.
We work in a hybrid format, ie: you can alternate working at our offices in Hoofddorp and also remotely. Our office is located next to the Hoofddorp train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train) so commuting is easy.
You are available to start by beginning of September (or earlier) and can work with us for 5-6 months full-time (40 hours a week)
