About the role:
The HR Specialist contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives towards an employee-oriented & high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, diversity, quality, productivity, and goal attainment. This role provides guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the HR department within Chile’s Operations.

What you need:

  • Experience in HR
  • Experience managing Employee Administration Systems.
  • Experience managing employees’ contracts and benefits.
  • English Proficiency, both verbal & written.
  • HR related certifications would be considered as a plus.
  • Great communication skills to properly assist and support the organization.
  • Relationship management.
  • Proactivity and eager to propose solutions.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Chilean labor law it’s desirable

What you will be doing:

  • Act as a key trusted advisor and change agent to area leaders by providing HR expertise and perspective on a variety of HR strategies, initiatives and management/employee relations.
  • Work with the Payroll department on payroll-related activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring an exceptional new employee onboarding process experience.
  • Manage personal files for all new starters and ensure that all documentation is present and completed.
  • Support employees with benefit-related matters.
  • Engage with People Managers to improve work relationships, increase employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Employee engagement events support.
  • Internship program administration.
  • Produce high quality monthly HR Metrics for Chile´s Operations.
  • Support Annual Social Responsibility program.
  • Monthly legal review based on the information received from external legal counsel to implement actions when needed.
  • Managing terminations and leaver checklist, including exit interviews, and collating necessary data for reporting.
  • Support on performance management process (for managers and employees) and system and monitoring completion of mandatory training requirements, providing advice and guidance for managers and employees in partnership with Development area.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with global audit procedures and any legal obligations which govern the HR function.
  • Support the implementation of annual wellness program and occupational health initiatives based on the budget approved.
  • Keep HR global systems updated with employee information, including new hires, line reporting changes, salary adjustments, terminations, contingent workers management process.
  • Assist HR Senior Manager with ad hoc duties when required.
