Description:

At Sephora we inspire our customers, empower our teams, and help them become the best versions of themselves. We create an environment where people are valued, and differences are celebrated. Every day, our teams across the world bring to life our purpose: to expand the way the world sees beauty by empowering the ExtraOrdinary in each of us. We are united by a common goal - to reimagine the future of beauty.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Sephora continues to explore new heights and deepen our roots in the North, we’re seeking a passionate HR Business Partner to join our vibrant team. If you’re an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and enjoys being at the forefront of growth and innovation, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As our HR Business Partner, you’ll be the strategic partner our Store Leadership Teams in the northern region rely on to steer their teams towards excellence.
In this newly created role, you’ll be a key player in cultivating a culture that celebrates growth, empowerment, and proactive employee engagement. Your expertise will help navigate complex HR challenges, while you also lead initiatives that support Sephora’s ambitious expansion plans across the UK. This is more than just a job—it’s your opportunity to make a lasting impact, ensuring our teams feel motivated, supported, and fully aligned with Sephora’s core values.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Your agility, resilience, and extensive experience in high-volume retail environments make you an excellent match as our HR Business Partner. We’re looking for someone with a strong HR Generalist background who pairs business acumen with exceptional people skills.
Your ability to navigate change confidently, while keeping organizational priorities front and center, will set you apart as a leader in our team. Plus, your top-notch interpersonal skills will make you an effective coach to seasoned leaders, ensuring our management practices are perfectly in tune with Sephora’s HR framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and Supporting: Provide expert advice to managers to ensure leadership aligns with Sephora’s high standards, and act as a go-to support for all employees, addressing HR concerns with care and precision.
  • Managing Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations cases with a balanced approach, offering direct intervention and managerial coaching, while streamlining administrative processes to enhance people management.
  • Enhancing Engagement and Culture: Partner with store leaders to boost employee engagement, drive internal communication strategies, and create welcoming, memorable induction experiences for new hires.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Operational Efficiency: Keep teams informed with up-to-date employment law resources, collaborate with Payroll Specialists for flawless payroll inputs, and maintain meticulous records to meet legal standards.
  • Supporting HR Operations: Assist Talent Acquisition with smooth administrative processes for new hires, and lead visa processes in partnership with legal teams to support retail-related mobility.
