Description:
Brandt is currently looking for HRIS Analyst in our Regina location. As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation, maintenance, and optimization of UKG software within our organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, IT,
and senior leadership to ensure the UKG system meets our business needs, improves HR processes, and enhances overall employee experience. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, strong project management skills, and proficiency in UKG software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, enabling them to effectively query and analyze HR data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support HR operations and strategic initiatives.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of business process management and in-depth knowledge of HR processes, policies, and regulations.
- Strong technical proficiency in HRIS software, including configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to gather and interpret data, as well as improve HRIS processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to train and support end-users in the effective use of HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated innovation and change management skills which include supporting and encouraging new ideas and approaches to build organizational efficiency.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.
- Knowledge of relevant data privacy and security regulations
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HRIS Analyst or similar role with a focus on implementing and managing UKG systems
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other relevant departments to gather requirements, define system workflows, anddevelop a comprehensive and user-friendly implementation plan.
- Conduct thorough system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any technical or functional issues.
- Ensuring the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics and employee data.
- Documenting processes and compiling data analysis reports.
- Utilize SQL to write and execute complex queries, extract data, and perform data analysis.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support HR decision-making.
- Performing statistical analysis on gathered HRIS data and run queries.
- Support the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs and resources for HR staff andsystem users.
- Perform system updates, enhancements, and work with IT on integrations with other connected systems.
- Monitor data integrity and system performance, conducting regular audits and implementing necessarycontrols.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HRIS to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with HR and other relevant departments to ensure accurate reporting, data analytics, andcompliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with UKG support and consulting teams, leveraging their expertise as needed.
