Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next career move? We are looking for a HRIS & Process Manager to join our HR Shared Services Team in this exciting fixed term opportunity, based out of our fantastic Snodland office, on a hybrid basis.
This role is Maternity fixed term contract from October 2024 to January 2026.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the HRIS and Process Manager you will drive the performance of the HR systems for excellence by always ensuring maximum efficiency and quality. You will own the system and process improvement agenda and deliver effective solutions throughout the employee lifecycle aspects.
Your ability to use data to inform decisions and systems to simplify working practices will enable you to further develop the transactional services that are offered and add value to the company.
You will be responsible for providing leadership for the transactional and operational tasks for Shared Services, whilst also being happy and willing to get involved in the day-to-day operation with key stakeholders.
The shared services team are a critical component in ensuring that all aspects of the employee transactional life cycle are undertaken within contractual, regulatory, policy and legislative frameworks.
This role will afford you the opportunity to lead the integration of our time and management attendance systems to a new provider. In this role, you will manage the HR Administrator and report to the HR Business Partner.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Key people management skills with solid generalist HR background
  • Passion for systems and data, with experience working with HR systems and data
  • HRIS implementation and configuration experience
  • Previous experience in applying continuous improvement tools and techniques to deliver ongoing improvements to service and drive process efficiency
  • Strong HR systems and data management experience
  • Advanced expertise in Excel and MS Office
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Meticulous attention to detail or delivery right first time HR Administration service
  • Able to identify, quantify and effectively mitigate risks and issues
  • Knowledge/experience of using HR systems that cover the full employee life cycle
  • Current knowledge of Employment Legislation and GDPR
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to coach and develop others in HR systems usage
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including identifying improvement opportunities
  • Proactive interest in developing knowledge of new systems, concepts, and method

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree educated (HR or related fields) desirable but not essential
  • CIPD membership Level 5 equivalent desirable although relevant experience will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Own and administer all HR systems, including HRIS, T&A, LMS, ATS and other related platforms
  • To lead projects to streamline and improve efficiencies in the overall service delivery and compliance of the team’s activities
  • Help Develop and Implement Benefits Strategy and Collaborate with stakeholders to continue to develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Employee Value Proposition
  • Benefit Scheme maintenance including aspects such as renewals, joiners, leavers, etc
  • Manage the administration of the annual salary review and bonus review process along side the HR Business Partners
  • Design, implement, and maintain a new time and attendance system to meet organisational needs
  • Manage a team of one direct report, overseeing their performance, development, and alignment with organisational goals
  • To ensure integrity of data through effective management of maintenance of HR systems and Data cleansing and auditing, taking responsibility and ensuring accuracy of data
  • To be the expert on all HR systems and manage queries and issues relating to the HR systems through to resolution
  • To ensure all HR records are maintained & secure, complying with obligations under data protection legislation (GDPR)
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to coach and develop others in HR systems usage
  • To work with the systems providers and internal stakeholders to further develop and enhance system functionality in response to business requirements
  • To manage the change control process for systems developments and enhancements
  • Providing additional support to the HR team by producing ad-hoc reports and providing training on the system and other programmes
  • Provide support with reporting such as gender pay gap report & talent management and Responsible for producing, analysing and distributing regular management information
  • Assist the HR Business Partners in the management and delivery of appropriate projects
  • Provide team training on new or revised processes and protocols, bring legislative changes to life and ensure the team is regularly refreshed and updated, and take ownership of their continuous professional development
