Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is integral in building and maintaining pay ranges for all job titles, mapping current employee pay to penetration within those ranges, managing benefits administration, and using market-based data to facilitate compensation adjustments outside of the annual merit cycle and negotiating benefits renewal and implement strategies to advance the long-term benefits strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with Paylocity, Excel, and data analytics and a passion for compensation and benefit principles.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Paylocity HRIS, compensation analysis, and benefits administration.
- Strong proficiency with Paylocity is required
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Compensation (CCP) or related HR certifications.
- Experience with market data tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, Paylocity Market Pay).
- Knowledge of benefits administration and related regulations.

Responsibilities:
- HRIS Management:
- Lead the HRIS (Paylocity) competency development within the organization.
- Generate reports and analytics from the HRIS to support HR and business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues and provide training to staff on system use.
- Compensation Analysis:
- Build and update compensation ranges for all job titles.
- Map current employee pay to their position within established pay ranges.
- Analyze compensation data to determine market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Implement compensation adjustment processes outside of the annual merit cycle based on market data and internal guidelines.
- Provide recommendations for salary adjustments to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and company policies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and communication.
- Benefits Analytics:
- Monitor claim data, frequency, and severity to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Analyze benefits usage and cost data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Use analytics to help negotiate the renewal of health benefits, ensuring competitive and cost-effective plans.
- Prepare and present reports on benefits performance and recommendations for renewal.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent application of compensation and benefits policies.
- Communicate compensation and benefits-related information effectively to management and employees.
