REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in the field of Health Safety and Environmental Science and/or Occupational Health and Safety Certificate/Diploma or Degree from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Professional safety designation such as CRSP, CSP, ROH, or ROHT would be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years specific experience in a prior HSE role including direct responsibility for the administration of Health, Safety and Environment management programs for the offshore industry.

- The individual is self-motivated to ensure the timely completion of project requirements.
- Ability to conduct audits and inspections, in addition to conducting and reviewing quality of incident investigations.
- Possess excellent computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of local regulatory requirements including C-NLOPB and Transport Canada.
- Extensive knowledge of best practice safety management processes.
