Overview:
PepsiCo is on the look-out for a HSE Compliance Specialist to join its EHS team in Little Island, Cork on a temporary basis.
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. The HSE Compliance Specialist will support the site HSE function, to demonstrate compliance with both Internal and External Standards, in addition to Legal Requirements. The HSE Compliance Specialist is a central role to the HSE department, providing support and experience, to multiple areas of HSE. The HSE Compliance Specialist will be pivotal to all internal and external HSE Audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data and track monthly performance of Environmental Compliance, Sustainability and H&S Key Performance Indicators’.
  • Follow up on Near Miss / Good Catch tracking and action plans, close out with all functions.
  • Carry out Accident and Incident Investigation and implement on corrective actions.
  • Partner with key stakeholders, provide subject matter expertise (EH&S) across the functions.
  • Support the maintenance of PepsiCo GEHSMS, ISO 45001 and ISO14001 management systems.
  • Facilitate external audits, follow up actions through to completion including sharing results, key findings etc.
  • Conduct internal audits for PepsiCo GEHSMS compliance.
  • Influence and drive HSE culture development across all functions on site.
  • Co-ordination (and hosting where applicable) of Operations and HSE training, competency assessments and environmental management training.
  • Develop annual training needs analysis related to PepsiCo GEHEMS standards.
  • Ensure all training and associated records align with legal, regulatory and best practice requirements.
  • Lead and/or take part in EH&S projects where applicable.
  • Developing and implementing written management programmes that address the requirements of the various PepsiCo EHS Standards.
  • Support the Standard owners in the implementation and monitoring the execution of the compliance tasks that are required to be actioned to demonstrate EHS Standard Compliance.
  • Coordination / tracking of action plans required to close out Tasks or Audit findings.
  • Keeping up to date on regulatory developments / changes that impact compliance
  • Evolving best practices in Compliance Control by sharing best practices and implementing best practices from other PGCS sites.
  • Supporting the management of third party GEHMS Audits and regulatory inspections e.g. The Health and Safety Authority
  • Software system support e.g. myEHS and mySDS
  • The above accountabilities are applicable to both the Concentrate and FFP sites

Qualifications:
