HSE Engineer

JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a qualified and enthusiastic HSE Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental sustainability within our operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HSE Engineer, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and guidance.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are highly preferred.

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to pinpoint hazards and initiate corrective actions.
• Investigate and report on incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up on safety recommendations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
• Facilitate safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation to support reporting and compliance requirements.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure proactive safety measures.
