Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Support Contract Managers in all HSE related steps of the Shutdown lifecycle, from planning to execution to demobilization
- Support the Contract Manager in developing and maintaining an HSE Continuous Improvement Plan in line with overall business HSE Objectives
- Demonstrate and champion the implementation of the One HSE Culture Framework on site in support of the Contract Manager
- Lead a small team of HSE Advisors during Shutdown planning and execution
- Liaise with the client on all aspects of UGL HSE Performance and improvement opportunities
- Conduct and facilitate incident investigations in a timely manner ensuring that actions are developed and closed out accordingly
- Audit work packs to ensure Work Method Statements, JHA’s, and other hazard identification processes are completed prior to commencement of work
- Provide support and advice to Supervisors in order to achieve health and safety objectives
- Develop and monitor compliance with requirements as detailed in the Safety Activity Planner & Check-it Planner
- Provide safety related figures for weekly and daily performance reporting to the client

Reporting to the HSE Manager you will provide advice, assistance, guidance and support to Operational management on all safety, health environmental issues across all sites in our Northern Region (Queensland). This role can be based in either our Brisbane or Mackay offices. Our Line of Business is heavily weighted toward Shutdown and Outage projects.
