Description:

EDUCATION / SKILLS:

  • NEBOSH qualified.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To develop and advance the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategy of the business, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Conduct risk assessments and regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Deliver HSE training and induction programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and review HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE considerations into business operations and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with NEBOSH and other relevant safety certifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices.
  • Provide advice and support to management on all HSE matters.
