PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent
• NEBOSH International Diploma
• Any other HSE certifications Mandatory
• Lead Auditor course ISO 45001/ ISO 14001
• Incident Investigation technique. Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in HSE (Operations in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries, construction, fabrication, installation, commissioning projects, with at least 5 years’ experience in a lead HSE position managing team of HSE professionals.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioural aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
• Able to lead a team of HSE professionals such as HSE Engineers, Sr. HSE officers, HSE officers etc.
• Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legal and legislative requirements.
• Sound understanding of all HSE Deliverables, HSE Studies. ? Broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.
• Competency in SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
• Ability to develop HSE plans, Emergency response procedures/plans.
• Ability to analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
• Awareness of H2S hazards and control measures. ? Awareness of lifting, confined space, hazards and control measures.
• Ability to speak, read & write English with good communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
