A leader in renewable energy is seeking an HSE Manager for its project in Providence, RI. This is a long-term contract role slated to last 12 months with possible 12 month extension.
As HSE Manager, you will take lead on providing guidance and knowledge for employees on safety standards, practices, regulations and controls. You should understand how to drive a culture of quality and safety amongst managera and contractors, create reports based on risk data, implement procedures, and conduct safety walks. You will also handle incident investigations and root causes analysis.
This employer requires GWO certifications prior to or after offer acceptance. Candidates must be able to reside in the local area for the duration of the project. You should have at least 3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Typical work week of 50 hours (5, 10-hour days).
