We are looking for an HSE Manager to join an on-going project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Lead HSE for the programme and regularly attend meetings with the client to provide them with the assurance that HSE is being managed in accordance with legal and contractual obligations by all stakeholders
  • Support the Project Director and Director of HSE, ensuring our HSE obligations are met and Construction Supervision Consultants are fulfilling their legal and contractual obligations
  • Ensure collaboration between all stakeholders, client, PMO, PMC, CSC and Contractor on HSE matters
  • Have a holistic view of the programme and ensure risks are known and managed
  • Ensure the implementation of the WSP HSE management system arrangements to ensure our people are protected from physical and psychological risks
  • Promote a positive culture of health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing across the programme
  • Have proactive approach to risk and develop awareness campaigns for the programme to ensure risks are known and managed
  • Drive the Zero Harm vision across the programme, ensuing fatal risks are managed and mitigated
  • Proactively monitor the HSE performance of the programme in accordance with set KPI’s and identify trends, ensuring they are addressed
  • Provide sound advice, support and training on WSP and contractual requirements to project management teams for HSE
  • Ensure the HSE Team are conducting proactive monitoring of work, via audits of the Construction Supervision Consultant and ad hoc inspections of the contractors under their supervision
  • Identify areas for improvement across the programme; to support continual improvement
