QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed vocational training (technical, scientific) or studies
- Professional experience in the HSE field for at least 5 years is advantageous
- Training as an occupational safety specialist by a recognized training provider is advantageous
- An independent way of working and a high degree of initiative
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Very good PC and MS Office skills
- Very good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:
- Determining and assessing work-related accident and health hazards and health promotion factors
- Providing expert advice on the design of workplaces, the selection and use of machinery, equipment and working materials
- Maintaining safe, healthy and humane work systems and continuously improving the safety and health protection of employees
- Preparing and supporting safety instructions and training courses
- Participating in the development of risk assessments
- Preparation of and participation in external, HSE-relevant audits, e.g. annual check, Cross-audits and carrying out site inspections
- Checking machines for safety within the framework of internal specifications (FSS5), including support in the procurement of machines and systems (e.g. checking FSS5 conformity and coordinating safety measures)
