KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop, plan, and schedule HSE training in coordination with the training department.
• Conduct all safety inspections in the workplace, ensuring the safety of people and equipment.
• Oversee pest control operations within the factory, managing contracts and monitoring performance.
• Monitor and maintain the fire alarm and firefighting systems.
• Manage the security company operations for the factory, including contracts and daily activities.
• Oversee the factory’s security system, including CCTV monitoring.
• Ensure proper cleaning and quality assurance of water tanks.
• Develop and enforce safety standard operating procedures (SOP) for production machinery, including training.
• Manage first aid supplies and monitor incidents.
• Establish and manage health and safety systems and policies in the workplace.
• Audit health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace.
• Maintain and enforce HSE SOPs for all factory employees.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety municipality legislation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Proven experience in an HSE Officer role.
• Understanding of national and international HSE standards.
• Strong knowledge of workplace, people, and equipment safety procedures.
• Ability to conduct safety and energy audits and propose solutions.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation skills.

QUALIFICATION AND LICENSES REQUIREMENT:

• NEBOSH Diploma or IGC with 1-2 years of HSE officer experience.
• Technical or vocational training in any engineering course.
