Description:

Our company is urgently looking for a HSE Specialist to manage and coordinate with clients and perform HSE duties and procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant and safe work environment at all sites, workshop, office, etc; and keep updated on the local HSE requirements.
To be a successful hire - you will need to have prior hands on experience in HSE activities. You will also need to be proficient in system applications and online systems. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A bachelor’s degree is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering.
Two - Three years hands on experience on HSE activities in a similar field in the UAE.
Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and systems, coordinate with IT team on system issues.
Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities:

Overseeing general operations. Producing reports, coordinating with clients and management staff, support in drafting contracts, developments related to HSE, training staff and create safety awareness among staff. Prepare presentations and reports and other management requirements.
Visit clients, organize and schedule meetings, update Management on a timely basis, maintain records and documents meticously.
Ensure to maintain a safe work environment at all sites, etc.
Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures at every site.
Solve issue and update Management on the progress of the development.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Must have extensive knowledge of local rules and can prepare documents independently. Coordinate with customers and all depts and manage contracts. Report preparation
Supports the Management in the HSE Policy and Guidelines.
Ensures, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems on a regular basis.
Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and with all Safety equipment provided.
Assist Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety.
Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
Takes part in accident / incident investigation.
Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
Carries out in-house safety training and audits on Sub-contractors.
