Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the procurement of non-commodity goods and services for ADM non-production facilities (labs and offices), mostly for corporate categories (e.g., HR-related spend, office renovation and services, subscriptions, memberships, lab equipment, etc)
  • Adhere to strategic sourcing initiatives and cooperate on implementation of global contracts with strategic souring managers and local stakeholders
  • Manage Purchase Requisitions and approve them, conduct competitive biddings
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with the Global Non-Commodity Procure-to-Pay Policy
  • The Buyer will adhere to KPI’s developed by the Purchasing Manager to track Procure-to-Pay metrics (POs before invoice, PO cycle time, on-time delivery, PO consolidation, and others), and collaborate with location colleagues to drive continuous improvement in these areas
  • Partner with accounting teams, requestors, suppliers in daily business
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for cost reduction and cost containment
  • Be proactive and take care of business continuity; build excellent relationships with stakeholders

Your Profile

  • 2-7 years of experience in procurement (preferably in corporate purchase)
  • Technology adept experience would be a plus (eProcurement and P2P systems, standard Office Suite)
  • Very good English level (B2+)
  • Basic knowledge of Strategy development
  • Change Management experience would be an advantage
  • Customer solutions focused and negotiations skills
  • Ability to influence and lead outcome
  • Relationship management and team oriented
  • Positive mindset
  • Flexibility, adaptability, openness for new (tools, systems, projects etc.) and for fast changing environment
  • Inner drive and motivation to make things more efficient, automatic, more productive, being innovative
  • Fast acting and quick learner
  • Ability to work 3 days per week from the office
