REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year supervisor experience required. Warehouse supervisor experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Inventory Management
  • Fork-lift/pallet jack experience
  • Receiving, storing, delivering inventory experience required.
  • Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with subordinates.
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Requires the ability to drive a truck safely.
  • The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to delegate and coach others.
  • Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Know and follow all company and receiving policies and standards
  • Understand all store Loss Prevention procedures designed to minimize internal and external shrink
  • Supervise day to day operations of all warehouse functions including ordering, receiving, shipping, return goods handling, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, and staff training
  • Provide leadership to maintain a positive team environment
  • Supervise and be accountable for the performance of your staff
  • Ensure staff are following standard operating procedures and safety standards
  • Sort and price all merchandise accurately and efficiently
  • Adjust prices (mark ups/ mark downs) as per the Warehouse Manager’s instructions
  • Write and acknowledge orders
  • Prepare return-to-vendor merchandise accurately and on time
  • Immediately inform management of any out of stock situations
  • Help train new warehouse associates
  • Organize all preparatory work for quarterly press counts and annual inventory
  • Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and management
  • Isolate, sort, and organize all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns.
  • Establish and monitor daily operational duties and priorities
  • Follow and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, organized warehouse including sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise, fixtures and displays, and performing light maintenance
  • Other tasks as required.
