Description:
On behalf of our client we are searching a Human Factors Engineer to work in a large international company with operational areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Participate as a Human Factors Engineer on a variety of Oil & Gas Greenfield and Brownfield projects, Low carbon solutions projects (Hydrogen and carbon capture storage) from early phase development to detail engineering.
- Establish plans for risk-based follow-up of contractors’ activities with reference to contract follow-up strategies and experience from other projects.
- Ensure the application of human centered design process and principles to support safe and efficient operations.
- Support projects in the design of safety critical and complex systems such as control rooms and safety automation systems, Human - Machine Interfaces and follow up of operational barriers as part of safety barrier management.
- Lead / participate in human factors assessments and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Equinor, national and international rules and regulations.
- A strong team player with ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility towards travel and mobility.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Can communicate in Norwegian.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Human Factors Engineering experience within project execution process.
Education:
- Ideally a master’s degree or PHD, however, candidates holding a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
