Description:
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Human Factors Research Assistant to work in our QRSTU patient safety research team. You will be based in the John Radcliffe Hospital as your normal place of work.
Short description of the role: You will be working closely with other members of an established team on the RESPOND programme, a large randomised trial of a Human Factors intervention intended to improve rescue responses for patients who develop serious complications after emergency surgery. Your role will include implementing the interventions, coaching clinical teams to keep engagement high, and using quality improvement methodology to refine the intervention to individual hospital environments. You will also be involved in data collection and analysis, preparation and presentation of findings and writing scientific papers based on our results and experiences.
