Our products serve customers in major gas cylinder markets, including medical, life support, beverage, fire, scuba, and specialty gases. We maintain operating facilities in the United States, the UK, Canada and China. POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Administrator will support the Riverside Manufacturing Plant and its employees in a number of Human Resource functions including but not limited to onboarding of both direct hire and agency employees, administration of company policies including attendance, payroll as well as being available to answer employee requests and questions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP/PHR)
  • 2-3 years of relevant HR Experience
  • Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize important projects. Knowledge of California Labor Laws. Computer literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day to day HR administrative tasks, including employee onboarding and off boarding, maintaining employee records, handling documentation related to benefits, policies and employee changes.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Validate timesheets, address payroll discrepancies, and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll maters.
  • Support employee relations efforts by maintaining open lines of communication, addressing employee inquiries, and assisting in resolving workplace issues or conflicts.
  • Utilize the HR Software to manage various HR processes, including payroll, employee records, benefits enrollment and other reporting.
  • Participate in the organization’s methodology of continuous improvement by looking for opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiencies.
  • Develop and coordinate employee events throughout the year.
  • Work with Human Resource Manager on other projects in support of facility and organizational strategic initiatives.
  • Help drive a culture in line with the company’s mission, vision and values.
  • Assist with educating employees on Leave of Absence options as needed. Assist with managing documentation
  • Educate and enforce policies and procedures amongst all staff.
  • Support other HR functions as required.
