DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a member of the Talent Management Team, this position manages the Workforce Planning and Succession Management Program for the Department of Health. This includes being a source of information for collaboration on workforce and succession planning as well as talent management issues. Work includes developing and preparing workforce planning data, generating and interpreting retirement projections, conducting studies on workforce composition and employee mobility data, and preparing and conducting training.
This position is also responsible for providing technical advice and general guidance to hiring managers regarding placement activities associated with posting and filling vacancies, as well as interviewing and selecting candidates. This role is also tasked with referring candidates to hiring managers, reviewing selection packets, updating ServiceNow tickets, and providing general guidance to hiring managers regarding placement activities associated with posting and filling vacancies.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 or Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 (Commonwealth titles); or
- Two years of analytical experience that includes one year of professional human resource or equal opportunity experience, and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
