HOW WE HIRE FOR THESE POSITIONS
Our Human Resource Consultant (HRC) Series is a group of standardized job descriptions within the Human Resources teams at the Yukon government. These job descriptions reflect different levels of responsibility, certification, pay and position management processes. We have two main positions in the HRC Series: Human Resource Consultant I and Human Resource Consultant II.
This competition will be used to pre-certify candidates for the HRCI and HRCII roles. Applicants who pre-certify will be placed in our HRC candidate registry for up to one year – where they can see and apply for positions throughout the organization. Hiring for these positions is often quick, as candidates are already pre-certified and only need to complete reference checks and an informal fit interview with the hiring department.
To become pre-certified in the candidate registry, candidates complete a screening and evaluation process based on the essential qualifications, knowledge and skills required to perform the position across the Yukon government.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Human Resource Consultants (HRCs) perform a diverse range of human resource management services through the building and fostering of relationships and strategic and analytical thinking.
