Description:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • DEGREE: High school diploma or GED required
  • EXPERIENCE: 6 months to one year progressive full-time Hr experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

KNOWLEDGE

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes meeting the quality standards for services and providing customer satisfaction. Proven experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with multiple levels of the organization.
  • TECHNOLOGY: Knowledge on how to operate a desktop computer, including applicable HRIS software, used to enter, access, and/or retrieve data. Effective degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • CLERICAL: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing and organizing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedure and terminology.SKILLS/ABILITY
  • ACTIVE LISTENING: Ability to give full attention to what others are saying. Taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions, if appropriate.
  • COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate effectively across the organization. Includes the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals and the aptitude to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and be understood by others. Written and spoken knowledge of English.

Responsibilities:



    • Assist in preparation of payroll and process all facility payroll after it has been verfied

    • Work with employees to resolve questions and errors related to payroll
    • Schedule and conduct interviews for open positions
    • Complete new hire paperwork with employees ensuring that all regulatory standards are met
    • Manage and maintain employee personnel files
    • Assist employees in their requests for FMLA ensuring that the FMLA program is operated within the framework of federal and state law
    • Gather, verify and track FMLA information
    • Answer telephone, take messages and provide general information in response to inquries, especially related to employment
    • Assist with other work in the HR department as required
