Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Human Resources Director to maintain human relations information within the system and through the employment security commission.
  • Maintain compliance reports for human resources team.
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee data in HRIS system with new and changing information ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information such as employee address, phone, email, tax forms, direct deposit, equipment, etc.
  • Run reports from employee database as requested and create various reports and documents to provide current employment information.
  • Maintain records, reports, and logs about applicant flow and employees such as EEO-report annually, multiple work site report, employment security commission report, etc.
  • Assist with audits of personnel and training files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Oversee the processing telephone and written requests for employment and wage verifications agency wide for DSS, IRS, employment verifications, etc.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding personnel issues from staff by phone and email agency-wide and route to appropriate HR representative if necessary.
  • Assist the HR director, Senior HR Director, & Senior VP of HR with Human Resource projects, complaints, and investigations.
  • Act as a mentor and model for other Human Resource staff.
  • Drive and Travel to outlying regions for training and orientation as required.
  • Assist with unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Maintain training as required and requested.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned by your supervisor.
