Description:

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of human resource functions, partnering with all functional heads to drive the Club’s objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or related field with 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
  • Preferably with experience in the recreation or hospitality industry.
  • Good knowledge of Industrial Relations and Tripartite guidelines.
  • Work closely with other department heads to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for staff to ensure they have the skills needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Identify training needs and create development plans for employees at all levels.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective mediation and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Manage and refine performance appraisal system and process
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance issues.
  • Implement strategies for employee recognition and rewards.
  1. Compensation and Benefits:
  • Manage internal payroll, oversee compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits programs are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  1. HR Policy & Process Enhancement:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that policies are updated and compliant with current laws and regulations.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to staff effectively.
  1. Manpower Budgeting:
  • Develop and maintain a manpower budget and manage within the approved budget.Prepare monthly and annual HR department reports on activities and performance.
