Job description
The Calder Learning Trustis an all-through school, providing an excellent standard of education for students from 4 – 16 years. There are two phases to our school:CalderPrimary Schoolfor ages 4 – 11 andCalder High Schoolfor ages 11 – 16.
Whilst each phase is distinct,they blend seamlessly into one learning community, offering fantastic opportunities for all our students.
The purpose of the role is to provide HR advice and guidance to Leadership Teams across the Pennine Alliance Learning Trust schools and take responsibility for HR Operations and Compliance at The Calder Learning Trust.
The post holder will need to have the knowledge, confidence and skill to lead, influence and advise the trust on the full range of HR responsibilities. Initial priorities will include staff engagement and wellbeing to develop the MATs positive working environment.
In addition to maintaining and refining the trust’s employment-related policies and procedures, thepost holder will have the judgement and communication skills to apply these with sensitivity and to coach line managers and staff members to do likewise.
