This role requires flexibility to balance known priorities with emergent needs and will also provide client-facing support as an HRBP during surge periods or when business needs arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major HR initiatives across the operations function, working closely with COE partners in DEI, Talent Management, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and HR Analytics.
- Develop and manage project milestones, timelines, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of initiatives critical to manufacturing and production objectives.
- Build and manage cross-functional partnerships to drive seamless execution of HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational goals and production schedules.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Understand the unique HR needs of a manufacturing environment, including the dynamics of supporting a large hourly workforce, time/attendance management, labor relations, and shift schedules.
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure HR initiatives align with throughput and productivity goals, including workforce planning and shift management.
- Capture and coordinate actions from HRBPs, streamlining communications and ensuring consistent HR service delivery across shifts and work centers.
- Serve as an HRBP during surge periods or when specific business needs arise, providing direct support to leaders and employees.
- Assist with workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management to support operational continuity.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior operations leaders, offering HR expertise to resolve issues and drive productivity.
- Prepare polished, data-driven presentations, reports, and work packages for senior leaders, reflecting both HR and operational insights.
- Ensure materials are tailored to manufacturing leadership, balancing HR strategy with actionable recommendations for operational execution.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, production-driven environment, balancing planned initiatives with emergent needs.
- Engage effectively with senior leaders, line managers, and peers to maintain alignment and operational effectiveness across multiple work centers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR, project management, or business operations, with exposure to manufacturing or production environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage HR initiatives and programs in a high-demand, labor-intensive setting.
- Experience supporting a large hourly workforce with workforce planning, shift management, and employee relations.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver executive-ready presentations and work packages.
- Advanced analytics and data reporting skills, with experience using HRIS systems and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
