POSITION SUMMARY

Human Resources is currently seeking qualified candidates to consider for the Human Resources Specialist (Operation Specialist) position. The primary purpose of this position is to administer and provide oversight in the processing of permanent/temporary employees and undergraduate student positions and employee actions. This includes transactional processing of new hires, prior state service, employment verifications, terminations, leave management adjustments/payouts, changes in FTE, salary and labor distributions, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with Banner HR and data management in a higher education environment.
  • Possess the ability to process and manage high volumes of data entry transactions.
  • Ability to interpret and stay abreast of state and federal Human Resources policies and HR procedures.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient independent problem-solver with knowledge of leave management.
  • Ability to develop solid collaborative relationships with all HR staff and clients.
