MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or the equivalent and six months of advanced clerical experience.
Substitution:
Six months of postsecondary education (16 semester hours or 24 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals six months) in any field may substitute for the specific experience.

Responsibilities:
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Statewide Administrative Services is seeking a talented individual who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is customer-service oriented, motivated, enthusiastic and eager to work in a inclusive and empowering team environment to fill our Human Resource Technician 1 position in our Juneau Human Resources office.
Under the general supervision of an HR Consultant 2, this position will serve as one of the Technicians providing recruitment services for the Department. Duties include organizing/monitoring the recruitment queue using Outlook and Teams Tasks, sending referrals to hiring managers, completing required Commercial Driver’s License background checks, and other tasks as needed to support DOT&PF with their recruitment needs.
