Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Administrator plays a key role in supporting the HR department’s daily operations and delivering excellent service to employees. This position is responsible for maintaining HR records, managing HR-related administrative tasks, coordinating recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This position reports directly into the HR Manager and will be part of a broader team of HR Professionals across the country.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Experience:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Knowledge of employment standards and regulations is an asset.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
- Assist in preparing and distributing HR-related documents, including offer letters, policies etc.
- Support HR audits and compliance reviews by ensuring data accuracy.
- Handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Conduct training as required.
- Miscellaneous duties as needed within the department.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate job postings on various platforms and manage candidate applications.
- Schedule interviews and support hiring managers in the recruitment process.
- Assist in the onboarding of new employees, including coordinating orientation sessions and updating onboarding materials.
Employee Relations and Communication:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the HR team in resolving employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and events.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Collect, verify, and process employee time and attendance records for payroll.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and respond to related inquiries.
- Liaise with payroll and benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate administration.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws and regulations.
- Be familiar with the HR metrics provided, such as turnover rates and headcount.
- Support the implementation of new initiatives and compliance requirements.
