Description:

  • Location: Pacekids’ North (808 55 Ave NE Calgary)
  • Part-time, Monday to Friday,15 hours per week, Hybrid in office and work from home

Responsibilities

  • Posting of internal and external jobs
  • Conducting phone interviews
  • Process documentation and complete data entry for new hires and resignations
  • Track staff certificates, insurance, etc.
  • Save staff incident reports and WCB Correspondence
  • Maintain digital employee files
  • Document formatting for organizational policies, procedures, guidelines, and org chart
  • Send staff member communications in relation to onboarding, benefits completions, staff anniversaries
  • Generation of staff requested documents, such as employment verification letters
  • Coordination of organization training
  • Maintenance and improvement of internal Microsoft Sharepoint website

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field considered an asset
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in the Human Resources field or related experience
  • Analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fundamental working knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office including Sharepoint, HRIS-ADP Workforce Now an asset)
  • Ability to multitask and meet key deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
  • Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check
