Description:
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Sr. Human Resources Generalist, you will be part of the Exploration Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Work with the Detour and Macassa HR teams to ensure alignment and communication across the Ontario Exploration division;
- Provide support to employees for all questions relating to policies, benefits and changes etc.;
- Coordinate the staffing process, from personnel requests to the integration of new employees;
- Coordinate the annual employee satisfaction survey (GPTW) in conjunction with the HR team;
- Update policies, programs, job descriptions and organizational charts;
- Carry out a number of priority prevention and health & safety mandates to support the Ontario teams in the exercise of their strategic role if needed;
- Support the delivery of specific corporate HR initiatives as required e.g. Annual Performance Reviews, Development Plans etc.;
- Support accurate monthly reporting and recording requirements;
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies;
- Organize and coordinate various events, training activities and information sessions for employees;
- Facilitate the onboarding process of new hires;
- Perform all other related tasks.
