Description:
Merovitz Potechin LLP is currently seeking a Human Resources and Administration Assistant to work in conjunction and provide administrative support to the Director of Administration.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Office Administration and/or Human Resources role and will assist the Director of Administration in all day-to-day operations of the firm.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Assisting Director of Administration with HR tasks, such as payroll and recruitment.
- Ability to ensure office is running smoothly on a day to day-to-day basis.
- Ability to answer employee questions about payroll and benefits.
- Ability to organize staff paperwork and job applications.
- Ability to organize orientation and training for new and existing hires.
- Ability to be both a self-starter and team player.
- Proficient with various word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
