Description:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed)
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures as applied to human resources areas and programs
- Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
- Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Process and track all personnel transactions for the assigned divisions of the department
- Assist hiring managers through the hiring process
- Prepare and maintain various reports and databases
- Answer phone calls and refer callers to the appropriate Program Coordinator
- Serve as a contact for payroll and benefits issues
- Enter deductions and other payroll information
- Process requests and information regarding specialized benefits, which could include FMLA, Workers Compensation, Long-Term Disability, and Unemployment
- Assisting employees and managers with payroll and benefit questions and the Employee Self-Service Portal
- Monitor timekeeping activities and update as neede
