Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field and 0-1+ years of related experience OR High School Diploma and 3+ years of experience in an administrative support role
- Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites
- Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently
- Ability to interact with a host of different personalities
- Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general customer satisfaction
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Professional in Human Resources certification
- Foodservice/ Distribution experience

Responsibilities:
- Assists with recruiting talent; maintains online application system, schedules interviews, maintains job files for open and closed positions
- Assists with researching, developing and administering training programs across various departments
- Conducts new hire orientation
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Maintains employee, job requisition, I-9, worker’s compensation, and all other human resources filesCoordinates employee events and recognition programsKeeps track of open workers compensation claims by maintaining files, tracking follow-up appointments and communicating updated workability information
- Maintains safety documentation for incidents and investigations; keeps management informed of follow-up needed
- Assists in responding to Unemployment mailings
- Ensures compliance of all federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Facilitates a positive work environment through existing employee programs as well as assisting in implementation of new programs and ideas to foster a great working environment
- Devotes the necessary time on the floor to stay connected to business processes and the employees
- Provide administrative support to General Manager office
- Other projects or duties as assigned
