Description:
The HR Clerk will have knowledge and understanding of all Employee Policies. The HR Clerk will be performing recruitment duties for both facilities. Recruitment activities will be various activities as approved by the Human Resources Manager. This individual will also assist the Human Resource Manger with tasks as assigned.
- Assist in the hiring process: answering questions for candidates, completing new hire paperwork, scheduling, and pre-employment testing required
- Understand, explain and applies Personnel Policies to prospective and current employees.
- Processes information in the payroll system for employee benefits i.e.: health, LTD, Pension, Flex, etc.
- Work with high school, universities and other educational organizations to promote the WRHS and recruit potential candidates.
- Corresponds with Payroll/Benefits Clerk on any changes to benefits, hire, terms, etc.
- Maintains proper documentation in employee files: changes in status, licensing, filing, ect.
- Processes all payments correctly and audits process as needed: insurances, weekly statements, clinic statements, ect.
- Employment Verification/Reference Checks
- Maintains employee records for changes in employee status, licenses and filing as well as auditing these records semiannually.
- Work with Advertising companies, newspapers, and department managers to get positions posted.
- Coordinates New Employee and New Manager Orientations.
- Assists HR Manager as needed for clerical, start up projects, etc.
