Description:

Seeking an experienced Human Resources associate to join our team of professionals at our recently rennovated New Rochelle, NY Assisted Living Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing support to all employees and managers as it relates to HR services, including Insurance, Retirement, Benefits, Absence and Leave Management, Recruitment, Evaluations etc.
  • Time Off Plans, Focus performance, pre-boarding, general HR and other components of the employee life cycle.
  • Pre-boarding tasks to include: Compliance, Employment verification, certification/license verification etc.
  • Conducting one on one (walk in support), on the spot and scheduled group trainings for HR services and solutions processes and activities. Prepares training material as well as training resources for continued use.
  • Onboarding tasks to include: review background check results, medicals, meet new hire for processing, complete i-9, take new hire picture, copy secondary verifications, scan/upload documents into EMR and have completed file reviewed for compliance
  • Works with and educates employees, managers and other HR colleagues to address missing/incorrect/conflicting data as well as recurring processing issues. Advises the appropriate parties as technical issues arise.
  • Triage and escalate issues and understand why escalations occur and recommend ways to avoid future escalations.
  • Participating in special projects as requested, and ensures all assigned tasks are completed timely. Reports on status regularly and seeks clarification when necessary.
  • Addressing all employee inquiries (email, phone or walk in for example) in a pleasant and courteous manner. Answers routine inquiries professionally, accurately and completely, and refers non-routine inquires to appropriate colleague.
  • Helping to implement continuous improvement projects, which could include process, procedure and knowledge documentation to enhance how support is delivered.
  • Maintaining annual compliance for all employees with medicals, evaluations, licenses etc.
  • Attending regular office meetings.
  • Create ID Badges for new employees and assist with Fingercheck
  • Review and understand all forms and departments of the agency.
  • Scan all required documents in computer system and maintain in house files.
  • Maintaining open job positions on Apploi, schedule interviews and post jobs when needed.
  • Assisting with monthly audits of employee files.
  • Assisting with Orientations and In-Services, as needed.
  • Assisting with agency job functions as needed due to absence and/or agency overflow.

Salary commensurate with expeirence. Must have prior experience in HR management
