JOB SUMMARY:
The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefit programs. This role includes communicating with employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, data entry, and a passion for helping employees understand and utilize their benefits.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate open enrollment processes, including communication, data management, and vendor relationships.
- Administer leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the corporate HR manager to develop and implement wellness programs that support employee health and engagement. This includes the management of our workers compensation reporting and identifying trends to reduce risk and implement safety.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting benefits and wellness programs.
- Ensure all benefits and wellness communications are clear, accurate, and aligned with company policies and values.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Education: Associate’s degree in related field
- A solid technical insurance and risk management background
- Infor competence and health insurance and 401k administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Analytical experience in performance based and results oriented setting
